New Fitness Regime

I have recently decided to begin a new fitness regimen. I’m not exactly unfit – especially compared to my middle-aged peers – however, I am also not the fittest I can possibly be. I am constantly seeking to better myself, and I know that this is one of the easiest things I can work on.

Maintaining a regular fitness routine is good not just for your physical health, but also for your mental health. It’s much easier to complete demanding everyday tasks, like chores and even work when you’re physically fit. These were some of the things I told myself in order to convince myself to really put in the work.

I don’t really have much exercise equipment at home. I do have an outdoor trampoline with a net, which my kids use, but I know I won’t get as fit as I want to by simply jumping up and down on a trampoline. I would do a backflip if I could, but I’m sure I would only injure myself. I also have a skipping rope, but that really only exacerbates the jumping up and down problem. No, if I really want to get fit, I need proper multi-station home gym equipment from Melbourne.

I decided to visit my local fitness store to see what they had to offer. It was close to my house, which was really convenient since I am busy with my children and don’t have much time to go hunting all around the state for exercise equipment. However, the store had just what I expected – a lot of fitness clothes, and even running shoes, but not much fitness equipment itself. They had a few dumbbells, and even some medicine balls, but this simply wasn’t enough. I knew enough about fitness to know that I needed enough equipment to create some sort of workout circuit for myself. I wanted to get progressively stronger, not just lift the same weights over and over again. I’m going to do some more research and talk to my personal trainer to see what I can do.
